Caliscota - Caliscota is constantly surrounded by ion storms making it practically impossible to maintain any sort of consistent electronic equipment. Somewhere around the year 10000 BBY a medium-sized transport named the Savior crashed on this planet. The survivors created an agricultural/hunter based primitive culture and more or less forgot their technological past. Roughtly 3000 years later a group of Sith landed and took control of the local populace with the sole aim of escaping the confines of the planet. When they perfected the genengineering to build living ships that would be able to operate in the ion-heavy planetary orbit, they were overthrown by the native populace who stole the ships and became mercenaries (roughly 200 BBY).

Nar Shaddaa - Also called the Smuggler's Moon, in orbit of the Hutt homeworld, Nal Hutta. Virtually all forms of illegal activities can be found here. The criminal element has become so heavily entrenched on Nar Shaddaa as to be impossible to remove at this point, and many young people on the fringes have gotten their start here.

Nar Shaddaa is also where Adair Tullas, Boss of the Syndicate is based, and the former home of Alcona clan Merrol.

Vorgrell - A rough world with a geologically unstable crust. Origiinally surveyd by the Hutts (roughly -300 BBY) it was sold to the Trade Federation in (-170 BBY). The Trade Federation began to terraform the world only to discover that a shipwrecked prison ship had started a colony. Under Republic Law, they could not eliminate the "native" population nor were they willing to compensate the survivors for their settlement. Therefore they signed trade bargains with them and established independant mining operations.
