WAAAAY back in 2002 when this site was started I was working for a company called Heavy Hammer. We had a test server named Fried Baloney (thanks to friend's odd humor). And when the old LABN community needed a server I volunteered Friedbaloney.
It was free, more or less unlimited, and it was on a fat pipe.
Over the years, LABN has been moved around from computer to computer, but it has been loacted on Heavy Hammer's Friedbaloney server all this time.
Well, Heavy Hammer is going through some changes. Negative ones. And the future of LABN's free ride is now in doubt.
I want to move LABN to another server and it will likely cost. I have one solution - Dreamhost - who are a top-notch organization with great service and stable setups.
It is $7.95 a month but only if you buy two years in advance.
I think Two years would be just fine, but a little math will quickly show you that that is around $190.00.
So I'll make you a deal. I'll pay for whatever it takes to make the difference , but anyone who wants to spend money (via the Pay Pal link) will get two years of PRO-RATED hosting.
You can either point your domain to the hosting (if you own one) or you can have a subdomain from any domain I own (with LateNightGames or WildandBad)
You'll have seperate access (FTP, SSH, email accounts (thousands) and space) and you can do whatever you want with it.

Well, the time has come...
We just returned from a week's holiday yesterday, and one of our phone messages gave us our marching orders for LNG. In just a few days we will no longer have hosting for it.
At this time I believe the plan is to put up a temporary page that we'll host ourselves from home - but we don't have either the space or the bandwidth to host the entire board. We'll keep looking for options, but given the underwhelming response to the DreamHost proposal, the future for LNG is highly uncertain. :(
Dave should be able to explain more when he wakes up.
