Well, we're through the portal - now what?
It seems to me that a small post would be in order to cover the emergence back into LA. It wouldn't have to be terribly long, just enough to establish the long wait between the first group of four and then Alice and Tash's arrival home (the 10 mins on G'rnatha having expanded to something like an hour and a half on Earth), and then the members of the group splitting up to head to their respective homes.
Unfortunately, Adam has made it very clear that he's not interested in doing a follow-up post for G'rnatha, so I guess Nik must just pop out in LA, dust himself down and wander off, not worrying about his friends who haven't yet come through, or indeed having any reaction whatsoever to his re-emergence on Earth. :? So that just leaves the four of us - John, Amanda, Shaun and me - to knock up a quick post to deal with the after-effects of our little jaunt.
So all that remains is to make a time when we have an hour or two to spare to get this thing written to re-establish our characters back in LA. I'm pretty good with most times - it's Amanda and Shaun who have the tightest schedules. So let us know which times are good and we'll see what matches. :)

Rounding off G'rnatha
Actually what I've been is a touch 'pissed off' or 'grouchy' recently. I actually don't mind doing something, what I *don't* like is some of the lack of planning.
Or to put it another way, Heather got Adam in a cranky mood this morning.
In short, I'll show up, but I really do think that Heather might be right in that Nik may NOT hang out long. He'll be concerned, yes, but when he realises how much time has past he'll want to head home quickly.
But before we do this, a few things. Like how long are we waiting for Alice/Tash to come through given the time differential? Half an hour? A day?
Also - most of this week sucks, with Latin quiz Monday, Greek Midterm Wednesday, and Latin Midterm Friday (AHHHHHHH!). I'm not free again until Friday evening, and then over the weekend.
So a suggestion, if you're going to do stuff back in LA... yes, the dreaded prewritting. We'll get an idea of what happens here in this one, write it at our lesure, and press on. :)

Actually, if you read my post again, you'll notice that I say in it that it's an hour and a half on Earth. :) So I'd already told you what the time differential is. But yes, if you want to do it as separate pieces and try to fit it together we can try that, but that will likely make for a disjointed post.
So far as I see, this would be merely an hour or so of writing. A very short piece where the four in the car (Nik, Reah, Darian and Seb) land after dropping just over a foot (from the 20-odd feet drop on G'rnatha) in the car park at about 4am on the 5th October. They can look around and see that it's pretty chilly for late July, and that the police tape looks old and tattered. They might find an old newspaper with a date, maybe. Who knows?
If they hang about for an hour and a half, at around 6:30am Alice will walk out of the circle carrying Tash on her shoulder, still unconscious. Then we probably yak for a bit and head off to our respective homes (I imagine Alice will stay with Tash for a bit).
There, planning done. Pretty self-evident really. :) All I added were some actual times and dates.

Actual times and dates are VERY helpfull for me, actually - 4am means the sun isn't out, and Nik will be a touch more willing to wait about. More difficult to see the man who looks like he's trying to be a demon, after all. :)
As amusing as an arrival at High Noon would be, doubt we'd stick around long. ;)
Should also clarify, I didn't mean doing this as seperate pieces. I simply meant that we know what exactly we cover in this, and then write OTHER posts that can be done before this is finished. It's doable, and would certainly save time and trouble (I've had a post written for several weeks now, for example).

If Amanda is happy with starting at 11pm, I'd suggest the rest of us rock up at 9am. Assuming everyone's more or less on form, we should be able to knock this out in about an hour.
Amanda, if 11pm seems like too late a start for you on a Saturday night, let us know so we'll drag it back an hour and we'll be there at 8am instead of 9. But for now, I'd say 9am/11pm Saturday 18th Oct.
