Right, the time has come to co-ordinate the timing of the big finale for Season Three. For those of you who will be involved, we'll need to work out a block of several hours during which all of us are free. From past experience, this process will probably cover more than one day.
So far, the people who I know are involved with the finale are:

If there are any others who are planning to be involved in the finale, let us know your times also.
Basically, we'll need to set aside some time - a weekend is usually best - to do the finale. There are posts still to go before the finale is ready to be written, so I'd say we're looking at the weekend of either the 8th/9th Nov or the 15th/16th Nov. For all those named above (and any others that I've missed), please let us know what times you are available around those dates.
For ease of co-ordination, please put down your local time AND the GMT equivalent. Given that England has just gone off Daylight Saving Time, that makes it dead easy for the English. :)

For me - Heather - my available times are pretty much anything for any day, with few exceptions, at the moment.
I'm currently in a timezone that lies 5 hours behind GMT, and I don't mind either getting up early or staying up late if necessary for the finale collab. I've done the all night with caffeine thing before for finales. :)

I wouldn't be available Saturday morning or the afternoon (since I'll be working then) Saturday evening/night and anytime on sunday I can do for either of the dates given.

Saturday morning I could make it for perhaps 1/2 an hour...but as i usually get up late for work it's not likely :P The rest of the day then is given over to work, so it's sunday afternoon to evening time for me I'm afraid.

Ok, so far it's looking like work commitments are narrowing us down to Sundays.
Sunday 2pm GMT translates to the following:
9am Sunday morning on the US East coast
6am Sunday morning for the US West coast
1 am Monday morning for Melbourne, Australia. I'm not sure if Amanda'a in the finale, though, and given that timescale she may not want to be. :wink:

Hmmm... I know I've been pretty quiet this whole season but I'd like for Jade to be in on the finale, if that's somehow possible. It is the one where the White Hats try to rid the world of the Fanged Four, isn't it?
Anyway, Singapore's GMT +8 so 2pm GMT would be 10pm on a Sunday night for me, which sounds ok but I won't be able to stay late because of work the next day. Collabing till about 1am or so is probably ok though. :)

Ok, I have bad news this Sunday is a no go for me I'm working. 3pm till 11pm... Saturday is a possibilty however since I'd be finished by about 4pm ish.
The weekend after (I know pushing it quite a ways back) is better since I'm on earlies (4pm by the time I get in ) Saturday and Sunday.
Of course if absolutely necessary you guys can write it and I can fill my bits in.

I seriously doubt we can finish the finale in one collab. Do you guys think we should schedule 2 times for collabing now so that we can start planning ahead to free up our schedules?
I think it's important for a player to be around for 2nd collab, where everything draws to a close. It'll also give whoever was not there the 1st time to make any changes in story direction that they think is necessary.
The way this finale is sounding, I would advise for us to wait till we can find a time where all players can be in on the writing, especially if their characters is to play a significant role in the big showdown.
So... What do you guys say? This weekend and the weekend after that?

Actually, my initial suggestion was for the weekends of 8th/9th and 15th/16th of Nov. So I wasn't even contemplating starting this weekend. There are way too many posts still to go up to even think about it yet.
So yes, starting next weekend will be no problem, since that was the original idea.
And yes, having it over two weekends will also be no problem since, again, that was the original idea.

So far it looks like the only times which are available to those who've responded so far are from mid-arvo Sunday (GMT time - I've already posted the conversions).
If anyone can't make both Sunday 9th Nov AND Sunday 16th Nov, now is the time to let us know.
