i've spoken to some of you online but decided to post this (sorry for speaking to you all in person)
after a recent conversation with heather i spent the last few days evaluating my writing and whole character idea and although in my head it is good i can never seem to transfer that to text. so despite my love for the game, even after such a short time i have decided not to carry on. i dont feel i can bring the creativity or writing skill that this game deserves.i know people say that you only except peeps that are good enough but maybe you saw something that wasnt there. i think its best that i go now before season 4 starts and jeet is tied to other characters. i have really enjoyed my short time here and i will keep up to date with the game and i wish you all the best for season 4. im looking forward to seeing how it develops.

Please reconsider, Neil. None of us feel we are as good as others seem to think we are, but I know that my writing has improved amazingly just by practicing my craft on the board.
If you would please try to look at this obectively you might see the following things we saw:
- An original idea.
- An endearing character.
- A compatible style of writing (sort of pulpish without being too melodramatic)
- A firm grasp of the nuaces of language and Culture.
- A desire to tell a story.
This is what we saw in Jeet and it is what you should see in him. Above all we also like you. And while there isn't a lot of room for new players we made room for you becasue you fit in with us. We are a writing community but we are also an international circle of friends and that is an extraordinary thing.
Don't let the 'ordinariness' of your perception cloud the fact that you are in a larger community that has accepted you not for your accomplishments but for your potential. Please give that potential a fair shake.

I know this community can be a little intimidating at first (believe me, they have had to cope with my non-native speaker insecurities, and writing :wink: ) but we are a good bunch, and as Dave said, we are friends, and that's the best part of it. :D

Please stay... Everyone here writes because we love writing, not because we're good at it. I'm not a fantastic writer and I've had my moments of doubt but the other players in the game helped me through it. In terms of character and story development, you'll find that everyone's most willing to help you out of any rough spot. Just give it a shot, what do you say? :)
