Hi... I dunno where I would post this, so I chose this forum to write it...

I wrote another character... and with much more detail... but I found a flaw after I sent it....

The character doesn't know how to fight...

I'm guessing I have 1% of getting accepted, but I'll try to make more complex and intriguing character... Or, bring back Derek Park... :P

Well, yup. That's all I gotta say now...

*goes to the corner, crouches, and stares shyly*

Hi back :D

I didnt know Derek Park, but I did read your first character proposal.

I hope you followed Dave's advice and checked up the proposals that were actually accepted before writing your new character. You say that it has more detail, so you are already getting it, and that's great. :D Dont worry about him/her not knowing how to fight, not all our characters are fighters although mostly are, and anyway, it would be something different and thus welcomed. If it gets rejected, at least it wont be because of that, i'm pretty certain i can assure you this.

Will be waiting to read the new one.

Oh, and do you have a msn addy? because most of us do, and any of us could help you polish your proposal if it gets rejected again, couldnt we, folks?

Hiya Andrew, good to see you come back on to the board....

btw your character doesn't have to be complicated to be good, it could be a simple character but a character with deepth or perception or an interested story line, thats all, and i know you'll soon come up with one and i can't wait to read it

Hi drew

*Sigh* again you're confusing abilities with substance. It doesn't really matter if your character were a complete bumbling idiot without a clue (lets face it we all loved Sam right?) Sometimes an original idea, a character who stands out from the crowd is more palatable than the stereotypical hero who can kick ass without breaking into a sweat.

Like Ally says come on msn and we can maybe coach you through things that you might want to concider in a character proposal, but like I put in my response to your last proposal (i'm gonna be a bitch here) I'd like to see some actual writing from your proposed character to show where you're planning on taking him/her/it and also to show how your writing has improved from last time. (Besides, this isn't asking anything more of you than would be expected if you were a member again).

But keep trying, if you're really commited to getting a character accepted you won't let a few hurdles get in your way.

BTW, nice to see a familiar face.
