Jessica stands at 5’6, long dark brown and slightly wavy hair flows down her back. She is lightly tanned and is usually smiling. Unlike the average watcher, she is not inclined to wear tweed; instead she is a casual dresser and most often wears jeans or skirts and casual tops. She is open to making friends and is curious about the new demon types that she meets from time to time.

Background:
Jessica has lived in London all her life. Her mother and father (Quentin Travers) died in an attack of the Council headquarters a few years back, her older brother, William Travers is one of the directors of the Watchers Council and has sent her to L.A to complete her training.
After her eleventh birthday, just after she left primary school, her parents sprang the truth about the mythical world upon her. She has been training as a Watcher since she was 19 and lived in the Council headquarters for the majority of her life. The reason Jessie started training at an older age than most Watchers usually do was due to the fact that the Council originally predicted she would one day be the Chosen One and she originally trained as a Slayer-In-Waiting. After her nineteenth birthday the Council gave up hope of her becoming the Slayer. She decided to become a Watcher and she started training soon after.
Jessie is a fairly young Watcher and has no slayer or Slayer-In-Waiting to train at the moment, because she still has a few months of training left. She will finish her training in a month or so when she will be given a Slayer-In-Waiting to train as she once was.
When she was trained as a Slayer she learnt mostly combat and for her training as a Watcher she has learnt of many demon breeds and has a good knowledge of demons. She was also trained in the art of magic, but she only uses it when she has to. Although she does not have the power of a Slayer she has the training; the tactics, knowledge of weapons and the strength to fight. Jessie can speak several languages including demonic and ancient ones.
She has moved to L.A to research the vampire and demonic activity in this part of America and to help her with her training. After pestering Will continuously he got her a job monitoring any unusual demonic activity in LA. She intends to do a good job at all costs so that she can complete her full training and get herself a Slayer.
Hoping to fit in somewhere in the big city and help the ever-growing Watcher's Council, Jessie reports regularly to her brother by phone, whom she now feels more attached to since her parents died.
Items:
Jessie always carries a few stakes and a bottle of holy water around with her, she has some magical power (enough to protect herself if need be). Her 5-year-old English Setter Skye is never far from her side when possible. Jessie always wears her silver cross necklace that has been handed down through the family and once belonged to her mother.
