To Ally and Matt: Bravo!
Your Paraguay night post was outstanding! It was romantic and touching and wonderfully exotic. Hats off!
By sheer cooincidence I happened to have latin music playing while i was reading your post which only enhanced it for me.
To everyone else...
If you are the kind of person who skips through the posts on occasion, be sure to read this one...fabulous!

Niko is back, Niko is baaack!! *does merry dance*
The Feedback Corner
Ok, ill first start by saying this was Rics idea, and im not stealing it, im simply posting it for him :P
We thought it would be a good idea if other players left comments/questions/recommendations to other players after reading their posts. This is valuable for several reasons:
A) Can clear up any confusions you may have about someone elses stories
B)Leave constructive critism
C) Simply say what you liked and give encouragement
D) Say what you dont like and repremend (kidding, crisitism is better)
E) and Finally lets people know their stories are being read lol.
With that said, I may aswell start it off.
Spectrum- Love the story. makes me think of kinda old school superhero stuff. I love your villain also, very cat-womanish. Only thing that was a bit confusing is that isnt mind block an evil organization, and yet the went to the government (unless of course they are like only bad in secret and I missed that. Cant wait to see you write more stuff
Divine Angel (ric): Simply....write more stuff lol.
Ricochet and Fixer...well all our stories are mixed together almost so I really have nothing to say besides I love working on them.
Hate: I love the idea of a cyborg assassin.... And great pic for the avatar.
Sundance: Your take is very refreshing. Very clever to have her still be a young naive teen. Original. Also, your stories will probably help set up for future big bad. Also, cant wait to see more posts from you.
The Feedback Corner
Great idea by the way...
Yes, "Mind Block" does do their dirty work in secret. To everybody else they are just there to help young psychics control thier powers (little do those people know... ). They have no criminal record, and are very little known so Commissioner Wood doesn't really have any record of them at all. Plus, with their wide variety of powers, they are very good at covering up. Also, spectrum has never heard of them before this.
Sundance: I'm loving the story so far. Of course, there isn't much yet, but you know your doing something right when you can get a person interested after one or two posts (I can't remember which). I especially love the anti-mutant stuff.
FenrisX, Ricochet, Fixer, Zailash: I haven't read the whole story yet. I know, I'm very ashamed of it. I just got so busy I didn't read some, and then put it off, and know I'm way behind  . I have been reading the recaps though, and sort of know what's going on, so I'm sure I'll love it when I read it!
Steel Ealge/Winter Knight: Can't wait to see your characters! Hmmm... with a name like Winter Knight, perhaps we'll see some ice manipulation? Or maybe that's just a name he/she is using right now. Either way, I can't wait for the characters! So send those forms in!
(By the way, was the character Jade ever accepted? The last I saw it was two for yes and two for no... I voted yes, but I think a lot of people didn't vote because of lack of clarity on some points).
The rest of you: No problems here! And Gabriel finally posted! Hurray  ! Divine Angel, Hate, your both doing a great job (and I have read all of your stories)... I hope I didn't forget anybody... that would suck.
P.S. I think this should be a sticky so it doesn't just get discarded.

Just thought id say I loved the ending of the Mind's deception plot line. Ill say it again, you totally have like an old style superhero/comic style......yeah that didnt come out right, but hopefully you know what i mean
The Feedback Corner
Wow! I'm actually flattered! I don't think I've actually ever been flattered before  8O :D
Yeah... I am kinda proud of the whole "Mind's Deception" thing... i tried to keep it kinda mysterious until close to the end. and I also wanted people to knowing more than than the characters, who were entirly confused.
By the way, I'm almost finished reading the FenrisX, Zailash, Ricochet, Fixer story (although now its kinda split up into multiple stories). I'm in the middle if Insurrection Agenda part 2, and I have to say that I love Valhalla (did I spell that right?). It's so cool how they all have different powers... I don't know why I find that so cool but I do. And, it looks like Spectrum has some competition in the light creating department (I.E. Callipso... and Salma Hayek is perfect for the part).
Now I'm working on another long story... I don't think it will be as long as the first, but I want to get it in so I can introduce a new character that may turn out to be Spectrum's partern? (sooner or later anyway). It's called, "The Eye of the Storm"... you'll get why sooner than later.
P.S. can't wait to see more stuff Sundance!

Kristen, those paper clips are great!!
The Feedback Corner
Thanks for the compliment, but Dave did those. (Big surprise, huh?) He's the computer genius. I just wrote them.
The Feedback Corner
Technical aspects aside, it's much harder, I find, to write something that sounds like a newspaper article than it does to write a narrative. It was a great montage that covered the six-month interval well.
Though I did get a chuckle at Marcus Link's description of Humans First as "relatively moderate". I guess he's not giving credence to the rumours...
The Feedback Corner
I agree with you, Heather. I dont want to underestimate Dave's efforts, the paper clips looked really real :D , but Kristen, they sounded real too, and that's even most important, imho.
So great paper clips, Kristen and Dave!
The Feedback Corner
Oh, nice touch. :) I read this and had to laugh out loud. I'd forgotten all about that cat.
The Feedback Corner
*Phew* Reading that "Encounter at Bob's" post has been cathartic for me. We've been sitting on that for at least a month, mostly due to work/school stresses and me having to play catch-up ;)
My first heavy-duty collab, and I was lucky to have Heather to guide me through. She's a good 'un, that Heather--unlike Miss Natasha Brookes, who's a real meany (though beautifully written)

Kudo To Lou:
Awesome post in the SW Game Board. I really felt like I could see Plateau City with "the stumpy grey architecture that littered the skyline like carelessly dropped building blocks and the serpentine highways that snaked in every conceivable direction like a network of blackened arteries."
Lovely in it's own way.
And your description of the night sky over Vorgrell "aglow with incandescent streaks of orange and blue phosphorescence." Yep just like I saw it.
Thanks. I appreciated a view of Vorgrell from someone else's imagination.

I have to say I've been impressed by everyone's contributions to Tash's 'send off'. You have done wonderfully by her with your aftermath posts. Thanks to all of you for sending her off in style.
I just finished reading Kris' post, and I got the usual tear in the corner of my eye as I started it. But then she took that turn and gave me such a shiver down my spine. If you haven't read it yet, I urge you to go do so now. :)
The Feedback Corner
Really nice work, Kristen!
I read it a few times because I like to picture the scene cinematically.
Very nicely done :)
[hide]Yeeesss! Come to the Dark Side! Benji will give you a cookie if you do![/hide]

Kent:
I wasn't quite sure where else to put this, but I just read through your updated profile. It says that Tash was staked by Kate Wiccham... But she was actually staked by Nikolai (while in the process of feeding from Kate). You might want to correct that. :)
Corrected!
Ooops--heee
I see that too. I'll correct it. The whole battle just sorta hit me, and I was kinda overwhelmed. ;)
The Feedback Corner
I just finished reading Kent's last two posts and I had to write a bit of praise. I loved them both - especially the dialogue in Bob's Bar - top stuff! :D
The Feedback Corner
Here's another one for you Kent....Just read the scene with "The Host" and I thought it was really great. I could just hear Lorn saying all those things, really funny! Keep up the good work!!!!!!!
The Feedback Corner
Thankee, and thankee
The Feedback Corner
Awesome job, on the latest post Matt.
I like the song. Is it an actual song or something you made up?
The Feedback Corner
I second that. Great imagery in that post, Matt.
The Feedback Corner
awww thank you guys :)
No, the song actually came from the original Bloody Mary article I posted a while back. In fact, that whole sequence is inspired by a 'true' story in the article.
The Feedback Corner
Wow, I love that plot twist with Rose in your last couple of posts, Kent. Great way to tie into the current season.
And thanks to you and Shaun for that epitaph to Tash. Gave me a chuckle. :)
The Feedback Corner
O Woe! Woe! Shaun n' Lou--how could you?
RIP W-P Agency
'Twas a chilling read, though, and those two "mere mortals" did survive much longer in this monstrous world than anyone would have thought. Kudos!
The Feedback Corner
yea yer right man i think it was mint
The Feedback Corner
Hehe, Shaun will be pleased, he was afraid he might get beaten up for it  - he has to take the kudos since it was his idea, I just went along for the creative ride. :D
The Feedback Corner
Wow, there go a couple more from the show...
hehe It's fun killing off the established characters, isn't it? Adam and I had a great time doing for Angel, that's for sure. :)
The Feedback Corner
Yay, im glad you guys liked :D!!
The Feedback Corner
hehe, I enjoyed reading it to. And it is fun whacking the established characters. They get their good moment in the sun in-game, then it's splat time.
"Die in the name of the Fuehrer!"
In praise of Shaun
*Cheers* Go Shaun! Go Shaun! Go Shaun! :purpban:
Just finished reading the big intro to LABN 2 Season 1 - way to go Shaun that was soooo fantastic I love you hehehe! :glomp: What a fabulous start! I hope it gets the response it deserves (I know it's made me rush to dig out my writing files) Woo hoo! LABN is back! :D
The Feedback Corner
Yay im glad you like. now everyone get to writing!! :)
