Okay, what I was wondering is when chosing a person to play your character, can you choose an imaginary person, specifically an anime character?
I know I used Rikku from Final Fantasy X when creating Tikal, but I was wondering if it was okay for a main character.
The reason I ask is because this girl who I'm getting to join is trying to find an actor/actress, and I told her I think she can use an anime character but I wanted to make sure. Obviously she isn't going to use anything super cartoony, but a lot of anime looks like a real person might so I thought maybe you can...

I personally don't care one way or the other. It just looks odd when you have 8 actors and one drawing on your roster. It is up to the player as far as I am concerned.

Then again, we are an odd bunch.
All I will ask, if she uses an anime charecter, is at least give me the name of something the character is in as well so that I can make that notation on the actor list.

I don't think that's a 'problem' as such, Alicenoko on LABN spends half her time as a giant purple bunny (hence a 'cartoon' plays her bunny persona) and Blackthorn is a werewolf so, no 'human' actor there either. As long as the character description is good enough that other players know what they're looking at, I don't see why your gal shouldn't use a cartoon* for her actor.
*yes Adam, I KNOW anime is different to a cartoon so don't say anything! :P
