Hey guys....uhhhh whats going on with LABN...like are we going to organize a capture/kill Tash post...maybe finally finish with this endless rut called the never ending midseason? I know SW is new and cool (and im writing for SW now also) but did we all forget about dear ol LABN?

Well, I'm already a bit ahead of the meeting, having got to the wee small hours of that night already. I know a few people had at least started collabs to cover their part of the first bit of hunting, but I guess SW has pushed it to the backburner for most. At the moment I'm basically just waiting for the hunters to catch up to Monday morning - then we can work out where Tash gets cornered. :)

Well...I was working on my end of midseason storyline (still need to finish that...damnit) and drafting some return of you know who posts, and then waiting for you to get back from holiday, Shaun, to write the hunting Tash bit...
And then SW came along. Shortly followed by exams....So....I still haven't forgotten LABN but, as Adam said, my schedule isn't meshing.

Well, I meant more with individuals. Ally, Robin, and I have managed, thus far, to cancel two collab dates, thanks to when we're all available.

Lou and I are in the same boat. I know it's mostly that I just don't have time. I hate to say that, but it's true. I work full time now and I have to save as much free time as I can for the boys. It's very frustrating to be honest. I need to finish up midseason, cause I'm already committed to that, but after it's over, I may take a little break from writing for the games. *Sigh* As much as I love this hobby, I have to be able to prioritize. Whatever I decide to do though, I'll still be around and I'll be reading. It just may be time for me to take a break, probably not forever, but at least for the time being.

Hey, we're all without much time, we're all busy, but this is starting to be absolutely unnerving. At least for me, and i'm sure i'm not the only one.
Dave said we should think of what were the things we had planned for this midseason and just do them! However, and this is the problem with many of the rest i reckon, we need to dust Tash first to get them done!
I dont know what it's happening, because we've been without time before, and we've been busy before. Hell i got separated before and i wrote more than now! So i dont think that's exactly the problem. I think the problem is 'we dont want to dust Tash' and that's it. So nobody is doing anything...
Let me tell you, it's not gonna work.
Please, get out of your holes, we need to put some closure to this, and if we cant now... maybe do some kind of 'afterwards' post, where everybody is terribly bad for what they had to do so we can go on...
Remember that episode where Xander fought the zombies? We saw only glimpses of what the rest of the gang were doing, and at the end they were all saying how they had saved the world and everything? Cant remember the name, but i'm sure you know what i'm talking about.
Please, i'm not saying we shouldnt write the dusting, but maybe not now? A separate thread later, when we've come to grips for what's happening? A flashback? I dont know.
What i do know, is that i've had this collab with Adam and Robin going for... almost two months now, if not more, and the round a robin actual dusting for almost as long... and i'm despairing. If that wasnt strong enough...

I feel your pain Ally. I want this to go forward as well. I am all for anything that makes that happen. I can't get into Star Wars even though I wanted to, and I can't seem to get a handle on where I want Sol to go next, so Daye is my last hope. I'm not ready to give up on LABN. So...what do I do?

Well, I've added a bit to the round-robin we have going in the White Hats forum. So feel free to add onto it. I've mentioned that there's no sign of Daye or Marcus yet, but they could well turn up behind the BV's that have just materialised. :wink: Anyone who's already there can obviously write bits about fighting, etc.
As before, I leave it up to you guys to duke it out over who gets to do the actual deed...

However, will we end midseason after this? Shaun said something on the like. What do you think? Because i had some things to finish up, but i may be able to tie them to next season's plot, anyway.

Well actually I had a lot of stuff to write this midseason, but with Daye's wedding and dusting Tash things got kinda stalled. It's possible that I could write most of it in flashback mode in-season (which I'm inclined to do just so we can get out of this dratted midseason) but I do have a few things that I HAVE to put into midseason just so that things make sense when we hit the next season. Though I know what I want to write, and have already started a sort of bare bones outline, I was holding off writing the posts in full because I knew I'd only have to re-write them after all the Tash stuff.
Perhaps we could keep the midseason thread open but also open up the next season too? For a little while anyway, at least that way we won't be holding the story back any more than neccessary.

I dont want to keep the rest back, but there's this thing with Matt that i'd prefer to do during midseason, i think it works better there. The other one, well i've been talking to Adam - my personal evil plotter - and we can move it to season five without much difficulty.

Uh, how come the last page of Midseason posts now shows up as Season Five??
If I've missed something then fine but I thought we'd have a longer break (in game) between season four and five than a few weeks - and actually my story in season five is based on having that passage of time (of a couple of months). I realise that we've spent along time on midseason, but I don't understand why this has been done without saying anything.
Now I'm gonna have to change how I've organised EVERYTHING :roll:

Ok, there was some confusion about how the Season 5 was going to be kicked off. As it now stands, here's the plan:
MS4 will be dated to end on 30th September 2007, but will be locked - come hell or high water - in two weeks.
Season 5 will commence on 1st October 2007. Anything happening in that break time that's not covered in MS4 but needs to be related, can be either referred to in exposition within currently timed posts in S5 or done as flashback posts if necessary.

I have been reliably informed that the Ally/Matt/Shaun parts of MS4 have been completed and posted, and I know Lou has got all her MS4 bits up already.
The two weeks have passed, and so I have locked MS4. Season 5 is now the forum for all game posts.
