I went to see Bulletproof Monk because sometimes you just need to partake in cinematic fluff. We underestimated its fluff-factor however.This movie is bad.
Not Train Wreck bad where it's awful but you have to see it.
Not Rental bad. Not Pay-per-view bad. Not free Pay-per-view bad. Not It's 3AM, I'm Cramming for Tomorrow's Test, and I Just Need Some Background Noise bad.
How bad? Toward the end of the movie my lower right eyelid itched. While taking care of that problem my finger slipped and I poked myself in the eye.
I didn't mind.
Personally I am facinated. How can a movie starring Chow Yun Fat be bad?

I've seen snow! I've seen snow!!
We had our very first snowfall for the season in Annapolis overnight, so this morning I took a photo of the snow sitting on the cars. There wasn't much, just a light sprinkling, and it was raining so it's mostly melted now.
But I've seen snow!!!!!!!!
Dave made a snowball from the stuff on his windscreen and threw it up to the balcony. It was all icy - just like the slush you get when you defrost your freezer. :?

Shaun, it has snowed exactly four times that I can remember in my life down here. Only once in the last five years, and then it was gone in about three hours. Other than that, I can only remember snow staying on the ground for more than a day once, and that was when I was about seven (some eleven years). We tend to just get continuos drizzle rather than snow...

Snow is something that is kind of like a roulette wheel where I live. When it comes, it comes big. Otherwise its sort of an "oh well" factor. I can state unequivicably that in 39 years (soon to be 40) It has snowed within a week of my birthday (Feb 17th) in Maryland.
The closest I ever came to a snowless birthday was on the 7th day after my birthday (Feb 24th, 2001) it snowed for 1 hour with no accumulation just to spite me.
There is a huge snow here about every 6 years, and this year is the one we are due. Last year was our first significant accumulation in 5 years (about 28 inches over 3 months) but this year will be the dumping year.

Oh, man... It's like a fairy-tale castle out there... Tonight there's this really light snowfall and all the cars are covered, and the trees have this light dusting. Gorgeous. :)
I dragged Dave downstairs and we made snowballs (and threw them at each other, naturally :wink:) and he showed me how to make angels on the grass. :D So much fun!!

Well, this'll really annoy you, Matt. :) It snowed all night so this morning was just incredible. Now it looks like all those Christmas cards I see every year (but that never made sense) where snow covers all the trees like icing.
And this morning I made my very first ever snow man!! :) He's so cute. But a bit small - Dave said the snow was a bit powdery to make a really good snowman, but I think he's wonderful. And you know, when you walk on snow it makes this really funky crunching noise. :)
