I was fortunate enough to see an advance screening of The Matrix last night. I'm still out of breath.
My girlfriend who is a mucky-muck at Warner Bros. in New York got me LA screening passes. Below is part of an e-mail that I sent to her this morning.

This is all the good stuff: OMG! Stunts o'plenty. Most of the people onscreen are of color. Best chase scene since Bullitt/French Connection. How gorgeous can Nona Gaye get? By far, the best filmed Ecstasy party in history -- mud, bare feet, bodies -- wish I was there. Trinity ready to throw down for her man. Gloria Foster. Monica Bellucci's dress. The cutie pie (who was also in Oz) manning the Ebucanezzar's computers. Glimpse of Gina Torres (Jasmine from "Angel The Series," a WB series that you guys better not cancel otherwise I will cease to use anything advertised on the WB even if it means I have to buy off-brand tampons).
I am sure you guys will go see it. When you get here, I am sure I will need Adam/Robin/Dave to explain the last part to me -- so take notes.
