yayyy, finally the new season of smallville is underway...bout time we see the further adventures of lex and clark 8)
soo, my initial expectation was high...season 3 comes off of the very bizarre, yet entertaining season 2 where Lex simply stole everyone's thunder...i love him in the comics and i absolutely love him on the show (much credit to michael rosenbaum)!...anyways, also A) ive been a superman fan since i was wearing diapers (yep, longer than bats...guess bats is kinda dark for a little infant, altho my dad introduced him to me not much later thx to adam west); B) Jeph Freaking Loeb is a creative consultant on this, so his talents are supposed to be felt through the storylines
while i liked it, i have some problems with the whole kryptonian angle...Jonathan getting powers???? and prolonged exposure to kryptonite can poison the blood...not to mention that the amount of people knowing that Clark has 'special gifts' is getting as bad as people knowing that Bruce Wayne is Batman (madon, most of his rogue's gallery know who he is now, including allies) :?
ALTHO...we finally got to see one of the major superman villains, ie Morgan Edge, the leader of Intergang...a crime organization that had ties with a lot of baddies, including the big bad mofo Darkseid...not to mention their beef against Lexcorp (Lex ie, not lionel) and they were all brought down by Lois and co.
and yay to lana and clark!!!!!!!
hehehe, the best tho, had to be LEX finally showing signs that he's turning to the Dark Side :twisted: :P

btw, did u know that the voice of Jor-El is Terence Stamp, who played General Zod in the Superman films :wink:
