"Special Unit Two" was a short-lived television show. It featured a special police unit in Chicago outfitted with special weapons and some supernatural support.
It had werewolves, demons, and lots of supernatural creatures. And as a gag, there were no vampires. The leader of the unit used to laugh at people beliving in vampires saying "Who could beleive in such a silly thing!"

It was so the combat with me and the demon began. Meenwhile I started to slay the deomons minions.
I came to LA because I was huntewd by the law in Sweden, theay had get enought of unsolved murdered corpes and I was going to a bigger hunting ground.

She had hopes to find a new lover, someone just like her. Italian , a vampire , and hopefully made a lot of money. Thats were she found out that it would be easier to start her own gang. She sold drugs which made her enough money to live in a cheap hotel. She made few phone calls to her family.
She called her mother one day to find that her father was dying of cancer. She packed up her bags and headed home. When she got there she spent every day next to her father's bedside. One day her father died. Her mother also died the following week of a heart attack. Another loss. She ran from the mem.'s of her parents to Queens ,NY. She moved back into the cheap hotel.
She was walked down the street one day when a vampire attacked her. This vampire was the man who had been stalking her every day.
The mans name was Drew. He worked for a vampire cult. He was the leader and wanted her to joing him. Be his lover. She wasn't interesting in him. She downed him and he left her all alone. Never seeing her , nor speaking to.
She stumbled upon her cousin Rosa Di Ricagnoli and has been livivng with her and learing what she needs to learn.

I'm not all that surprised at all. As a longtime fan of horror and explicit action (like Hong Kong, Tarantino, Rodriguez shit), I've gotten to where I'm surprised if I don't see at least a couple 13 year olds in the theatre. More often than not, they 13 year old is followed by a pair of much younger siblings/cousins/whatever. There is then public outcry about how movies of that type, and the games inspired by them, shouldn't be available because of the effect they have on the kids. Damn kids shouldn't see them in the first place, but the majority of parents out there are utter dolts.

I'm just curious, when was the last time we got anything remotely resembling a genuine character proposal. It seems we're having a drought on good, original ideas. Is that alright? Are we at a capacity where we can do without any new players? Or should we think about recruiting now? As it's midseason, it seems to be the time to think about this. What do you all think?

Dave, what do you mean with 'off the age'? I thought the admitted age was 13 and over.

I think he's refering to how the character ages and birthdates are not concurrant with the current in-game date. If Sierra was born in 1984 then she would be 23 not 20 (at least that's what I assume Dave means).
Not that I really think that is a basis for rejecting a proposal, it's a relatively simple mistake to make basing a character's age on real time rather than our game time. Just like I don't think it's such a big problem if someone applies with an already used name - it can always be changed and I don't think that should count as a reason for rejecting an application either.
That's not to say that I'd accept either of the characters above, they're way too simple and show no origniality what-so-ever. But those would be my reasons for rejecting them, the dates and the name thing are annoying for sure, but easy mistakes to make.

The main erason I rejected it for the age-math was it shows that the player didn't READ any part of the game board or the background material. That sort of mistake is generally a real giveaway.

Plus I'm guessing the birth date is the players not the character since being born in 1991 would hardly allow Sarah to be 430 years old... :evil:
